Here’s the footage of Rob Walker’s winning lap in the Evasive Motorsports / Voltex S2000 from last week’s Super Lap Battle. Evasive Motorsports was able to take first place in the Street FR class with 1:56.76. With this time, we also set records for:

Another season gone by, this year’s Super Lap Battle finals ended up being another fun and great event.

We officially debuted the Voltex Aerokit for the S2000 received alot of good feedback both on and off the track. Driven by Robert Walker a.k.a. Maxrev, Evasive Motorsports was able to take first place in the Street FR class with 1:56.76. With this time, we also set records for:

Fastest NA in Street Class
Fastest RWD Street Class
Overall Street Class win for 2009

Driven by Tim Kuo a.k.a. StinkyTofu, Evasive placed 2nd in the Limited AWD class with 1:49.9. Unfortunately, we had some minor issues with the car but hope to come back stronger next season. Some changes with the car have already started being discussed. Overall, we definitely can’t complain and are very happy with the results. Congratulations to Ryan Gates of Gates311.com / AMS for taking 1st place.

Some consumers may not know, but Voltex GT wings are also commonly fitted to European applications. We recently installed a Voltex Type V GT wing on a BMW E46 M3 lowered on Volk Racing TE37’s. It fits to the ends of the trunk perfectly. The wingspan is 1600mm using 275mm brackets.

For those interested, Voltex GT Wings have also been outfitted for Lotus Elise, Exige, BMW E36, E46, E92, Z3, Z8, Audi TT, Ferrari 360 Modena. Please contact us to special order these applications from Voltex Japan.

Here is the final design for the Voltex AP2 rear diffuser. The wing is a Type 9 that utilizes factory CR mounting position. Prototyping should begin soon, we will keep everyone posted!

We’ll be running our EVO and Ken’s S2000 at Willow Springs Raceway (a.k.a. Big Willow, the fastest road in the west) for Redline Time Attack this weekend. Both cars will be running on Evasive SPEC TEIN SRC Coilover Dampers.
