Evasive Scion FR-S ver. 2 reboot, on display at SEMA

The Evasive Motorsports Scion FR-S has been given some subtle changes. Including revised livery colors, it now sports Volk Racing CE28RT, larger end plates for the Voltex GT Wing, updated finned rear diffuser, and Tom’s tail lights. It will be on display at the SEMA show this week at the SuperPro Suspension booth. The following week, we’ll be entering it in the Global Time Attack / Super Lap Battle event at Buttonwillow Raceway.

Garage HRS Time Attack EVO VIII for sale!

The Garage HRS Time Attack EVO VIII is up for sale! This is a fully built, right-hand drive, EVO VIII direct from Japan. Garage HRS put some serious time and sweat into this race car. If you’ve ever wanted to build a car for the track, but haven’t had the time to, this may be the perfect solution. And to say the least, this machine is one of a kind, having been built by one of the most prestigious and respected EVO tuners of Japan.

The car is is great condition as we inspected it ourselves when we visited their headquarters this past summer. It has only been driven at a handful of events since it was built primarily for demonstration purposes. Evasive Motorsports is assisting Garage HRS with the sale as a U.S. representive. If you are interested in making the purchase, Evasive Motorsports will arrange all legal documents and transportation of the car from Japan directly to your door. This car is for off-road use only and cannot be registered as a street driven vehicle.

Evasive Motorsports / Voltex S2000 Winning Lap from Super Lap Battle at Buttonwillow CW13

Here’s the footage of Rob Walker’s winning lap in the Evasive Motorsports / Voltex S2000 from last week’s Super Lap Battle. Evasive Motorsports was able to take first place in the Street FR class with 1:56.76. With this time, we also set records for:

Another season gone by, this year’s Super Lap Battle finals ended up being another fun and great event.

We officially debuted the Voltex Aerokit for the S2000 received alot of good feedback both on and off the track. Driven by Robert Walker a.k.a. Maxrev, Evasive Motorsports was able to take first place in the Street FR class with 1:56.76. With this time, we also set records for:

Fastest NA in Street Class
Fastest RWD Street Class
Overall Street Class win for 2009

Driven by Tim Kuo a.k.a. StinkyTofu, Evasive placed 2nd in the Limited AWD class with 1:49.9. Unfortunately, we had some minor issues with the car but hope to come back stronger next season. Some changes with the car have already started being discussed. Overall, we definitely can’t complain and are very happy with the results. Congratulations to Ryan Gates of Gates311.com / AMS for taking 1st place.

EVO X Build
